BASIC ENTRANTS REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a full-time matriculated student attending a Ohio college or university, must be a resident of Ohio or must work in Ohio.

Must be a size 14W or greater 

Must be of good moral character

MISS OR MS 2011 TOTAL ENTRY FEE:  $375.00

Entrance Fee for Miss and Ms. Divisions will be divided as Follows:

• $100  Deposit
• $75  Due 30 days after deposit
• 10 Patron Listings @ $20 each

TOTAL - $375

Dinner tickets: All Delegates are admitted to the Dinner at no cost. Each additional guest will need to pay for a ticket.

Pageant tickets: TBA

Ad pages are optional.  The prices are $100 for a full page and $50 for a half page.  Ad pages, Tickets & Patron listings sold will count toward the Ohio Plus America Ambassador title.  (Ad’s & Tickets will not count toward the $375 entrance fee.)

PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING:  During intermission we will Vote   for your favorite Delegate at 1.00 per vote.  The Delegate with the most votes is crowned Miss Ohio Plus America People’s Choice Winner.

Optional Competition: *

Talent:  $25

Talent may consist of singing, dancing, and poetry. We do not provide musical instruments. This competition is judged on stage presence, originality and difficulty of routine. Props are allowed. The talent deadline is 2 ½ minutes only! 

Please register your talent selection by emailing the state director at missohioplus@gmail.com.  Deadline for entry of this competition is February 22, 2011.  

Bring music for your performance it must be edited and ready for all performance. No Exceptions!  Ladies please keep in mind the music must be clean no profanity in your music and speeches or it will be denied.  Each CD must be labeled clearly with your name and track number.

Photogenic:  $25.00

Please bring all photos in a professional folder. The photos will be judged on your photogenic appearance so be creative. Please make sure your pictures are up to date pictures of yourself.

No Tattoo’s of piercings please. 

Spokes Model: $25.00

Prepare, no longer than one minute in length. Contact your state director for more details on the proposed subject of the speech! This competition will be judged on projection, stage presence, speaking ability and confidence.

Miss Congeniality winner will be judged by the Delegates.   

Cover Girl Competition $45.00

All Cover Girl photos must be emailed to missohioplus@gmail.com prior to the Ohio state pageant.  Format must be .jpg.  Please submit your name, age and city along with your photo. 

Poetry 25.00

This must be an original poem written by the Delegate. This poem must be creative and state your journey as a Miss Ohio Plus America Delegate.  “No exceptions”

Scrapbooking 25.00

This is also a creative process of your Appearances as a Delegate in the Miss Ohio Plus America Pageant

We are looking for entrepreneurs who are familiar with the pageant world and have some experience in the pageant/fashion/beauty/entertainment industry to become one of our illustrious preliminary Directors. You have the opportunity to own a city or country pageant within the Ohio. Our directors will receive support and guidance from the Columbus office but they are expected to be creative self starters. We are looking for responsible people who want to help to celebrate and empower plus size Women from all over Ohio. Some of the Directors’ required duties will be to:

• market their pageant(s)

• Develop positive community relations

• Develop and support their queens

• Ensure franchise fees are paid in a timely manner

• Put on an annual pageant event

• Ensure that winners attend the national Pageant Event

• Perform all duties in a fair and ethical manner

• Maintain excellent record keeping

• More duties as required to develop and grow a thriving business
