about MPA for a male director, here in Louisiana. He told me
that he thought he know of a pageant system that was right for
me. |

I competed in
2008. |

your favorite part of the pageant when you competed? |

I love the
stage part of the competition. I feel that is my strongest area
of competition. |

the toughest part of the competition? |

My
interview started out a little rough but got better as things
went along and my nerves settled down. |

What
do you think about the Miss Plus America Interview Process? |
| Lori |
The
process is great. I was just a little nervous and got myself
worked up for nothing. I found my judges easy to talk to. |

Can
competing in the pageant make you a better person? |
| Lori |
Most definitely, I
have learned so much about myself since I started competing in
pageants. I love to get feedback after the pageant so that I
can improve myself before I compete again. |

What was the first thing that went through
your mind when you heard your name called when you competed? |
| Lori |
Oh my goodness, I
just won a National title. I am Mrs. Plus America. |

Describe
your crowning moment when you won Mrs. Plus America. |
| Lori |
I cried
and cried. I never thought that I would do it and I was super
shocked. |

Were you expecting
to be awarded the Ambassador Title? |

I was not
expecting the Ambassador Title at this time. I thought I would
have to put in at least another years worth of work before I
would be considered for this title. |

What do
you plan to do during your two-year reign? |
| Lori |
I plan to
help out where ever I am needed. If I can help anyone, in
anyway, I hope they call me. If it is possible for me to help
them, I will. |

How
has MPA changed your life? |
| Lori |
MPA has
changed my life in many ways. I am now a part of the wonderful
MPA family. I have met many amazing people because of MPA and I
will cherish the memories forever. |

What
advice would you give to anyone looking to enter the Miss Plus
America pageant? |
| Lori |
I say go
for it. If you come to MPA, I promise you that it will be an
experience that you will never forget. |
