REGIONAL PRELIMINARY PAGEANTS:    NOTE: *Residents of Fresno, Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, Stanislaus, Tulare and Tuolumne  counties  may enter the Northern CA Regional or the Central CA Regional based on proximity to the host city. To qualify for a local pageant, you must live or work within 100 miles of or attend school in your respective regional prelim city.

$125 Entry Fee (Teen Ambassador, Miss and Ms. Divisions)

Additionally, each delegate must sell 5 tickets @$25 each.

Ladies in the Miss and Ms. division may be single, married, divorced or widowed. 


CALIFORNIA TEEN AMBASSADOR COMPETITION:

California Plus America Teen Ambassador Division (Ages 13-17    Jr. size 12+)
Entrance fee for teens is $250 plus 5 tickets @ $30 each.  

Categories of Competition: 

Evening Gown           50%
Casual Sportswear    50% 

(No swimsuits allowed. This should be something you would wear to the movies.)


CATEGORIES OF COMPETITION:

On-Stage Interview: 50%
Evening Gown:  25%
Fashion Pant Wear: 25%

Optional Competition:
 
  Photogenic - pictures can be color or b/w; must be at least 5x7 and no larger than 8x10
  Portfolio - minimum of 10 pictures, color or b/w.  All photos must be in a binder or album. Show your creativity and personality through pictures! Please label with name, city and division.
 

CoverModel Submit a color or b/w photo no smaller than 5x7 and no larger than 8x10; can be natural or glamour shot; please label back with name, city and division. This can be same photo submitted for Photogenic competition. Maximum of five (5) photos can be submitted. Please be sure to submit release with picture if it is a professional portrait.

 

Talent - Talent may consist of singing, dancing, poetry reading, sign language, etc.  No piano will be provided.  This competition is judged on stage presence, originality and difficulty of routine.  Props are allowed. Talent acts must not exceed 4 minutes.  No fire acts, please.  Delegates must provide a CD of their own music for performance.

 

BASIC ENTRANTS REQUIREMENTS:

Delegates must live in, were born in, hold property in, work in, or attend school in California

Must be a size 14W or greater (size 12+ for teens)

Must be of good moral character

2010 TOTAL ENTRY FEE $400.00

Minimum of $100.00 deposit holds your place and for “at-large” delegates, please select your choice of city titles (Select from first three (3) geographically closest to you. Choices are 1st come/1st awarded). “At-large” delegates are those that do not come to state finals through a preliminary competition. Your title choices could also be affected by and/or determined by the choices made by preliminary winners. 

DEPOSIT IS DUE WITHIN TEN (10) days of submitting your application.

2nd Installment of $150.00 due forty-five (45) days after deposit is submitted.

Final Installment of $150.00 is due by April 1, 2011.

Optionals entry fee is $25.00 each or all 4 for $80.00.

All other fees: Optionals, event tickets and Ads are due in full by April 1, 2011
